Hello Tempo friends I would like to bring to your attention the fantastic restoration effort of Paulo G. Jnr in Rio De Janerio, Brazil. He has rescued a poor Tempo Hanseat that was in terrible condition. The engine and drive had been removed and stored but the chassis and cab had been left to rot. Rust condition was very bad and the chassis had to be dug out of the ground.
To appreciate how bad the condition was really was, here is a video of the cab and chassis after it was salvaged from the ground.
Paulo fabricated a new chassis tube and cross members, restored the remaining metalwork and reinstalled the cab.
The engine was recovered from storage but was rusted and encrusted with oil and dust. After it was soaked for some time in diesel oil the bearings and pistons proved to be salvageable. He has refitted the engine and it is now going to the electrician.
Paulo has done an amazing job given the terrible state of the machine. Good work Paulo!
He is looking for some control fittings so if you can help he can be contacted on email

Hello, very interesting! Unfortunately the video is no longer available after the years. Any new information (and photos) from the remarkable Tempo friend from Brazil? Thank you
