Hallo, ich bin Craig aus Australien. Ich habe 2 Tempo Matadors hier (1951). Ich habe langsam deren Wiederherstellung. Ich werde einer von ihnen kurz zu malen.

Ich bekam sie von einem Freund der Familie, er starb vor einigen Jahren, und die Fahrzeuge wurden mir verkauft.

Meine beste Matador hat die original VW Motor und Getriebe.

Ich bin für die Farbcodes für die Farbe suchen, würde jemand Zugang zu ihnen haben?

Hello, I am Craig from Australia. I have 2 Tempo Matadors here (1951). I have been slowly restoring them. I am going to paint one of them shortly.

I recieved them from a family friend, he died some years ago and the vehicles were sold to me.

My best Matador has the original VW engine and transmission.

I am looking for the color codes for the paint, would anyone have access to them?

I've read about your Hanseat, where did you get it? There was one in Rockingham somewhere.

Have you had any luck with a chassis?

I'll have to come and have a look at it one day.

Hi Craig. What a small world!
I picked up the parts from a wreckers yard in Victoria. They were going to scrap it so I took it off their hands. There's a lot of work to be done but hey.... A couple of years maybe...
The parts are in storage at the moment so not much to see. I haven't found a chassis yet but still think it'll be easier to have a replica manufactured.
Look forward to seeing your Matador. I have heard of a few around but haven't actually seen one 'in the flesh.' The VW guys will go crazy.

If there is one in Rockingham I'd be very interested to know. I only know of one other in Melbourne. That was imported recently from the Bruce Weiner Microcar museum. The owner is undertaking a restoration.

Did you get a response to your question about the colours? I think there is a Matador expert / specialist on this forum. Maybe PM them?

In the "Schraubertipps" section Tempo Christian has posted some colour cards. Which seem to correspond with colours I have seen. They look very helpful.
